A new report predicts the aggregate price of a Canadian home increased by 16% YoY to $771,500 in Q4 2021. GTA prices are forecasted to increase by 14.5% YoY; buyers are escaping there continue to compete with locals, meaning multiple offers and bidding wars are still common. Prices in Waterloo Region will increase, especially in light of low0interest rates and higher average income compared to places like Mississauga.
