Statistics released by the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) reveal national home sales and new listings continued to rebound in June 2020.
Here's a snapshot of how the Canadian Housing Markets performed in the month of June 2020 and how they compare to last year:
• National home sales rose 63% on a month-over-month (m-o-m) basis in June.
• Actual (not seasonally adjusted) activity was up 15.2% year-over-year (y-o-y).
The GTA suburbs are exponentially urbanizing, by rapidly creating their own bustling downtown cores outside Downtown Toronto. Oakville is incredibly good at this, with its continuous ambition to grow and expand as an urban centre. This is evident by the development of a new community by Distrikt Developments. Distrikt Trailside Condos is a new condominium project which will stand at 407 Dundas Street West in Oakville.

There were 4,606 sales in May 2020, down by 53.7% compared to May 2019. On a seasonally adjusted basis, sales were up by 10% compared to April 2020.
There were 9,104 homes listed in May 2020, down by 53.1% year-over-year.
